Inspiration and Insight to Being a Blogger

Holding my son's hand for the first time.
Welcome to the Technology Colony!  Hopefully you'll enjoy your time spent here.  We can address where we've been, where we are, and where in the world are we going?  The inspirational photo to the left is a picture that I took the moment our son was born.  In that moment, time ceased to exist.  I was filled emotion.  Questions arose.   Am I a good parent?  Are we going to be able to give him everything he needs?  What events will he experience in his lifetime?  Like all parents, we quickly learned that you take things one moment at a time, embracing every single one of them.  I hope my children will have a zest for life that they can pass on to their children.

Blogging is different than many other forms of writing.  Despite being unstructured, they can be surprisingly effective when managed correctly.  A blog is a place where ideas and opinions can be shared freely amongst it's users.   There are bloggers of all ages sharing information about topics that are important to them.  No matter what your interest, there is a blog that will appeal to you.  Blogs are unique in the fact that they allow anybody to be a author, critic, supporter, or even just an observer.
Blogger allows creators to customize their pages which is a great way for users to display their creativity.  Blogs can be as simple or complex as the creator wants them to be.  Another benefit to using Blogger is the fact that it is integrated with my Google account.  Blogger is a great site for both experienced and inexperienced users of technology.

Here are a couple of blogs that I started a with the intent of chronicling some of my life experiences.  They are snapshots of what was going in my life at that particular time.   Enjoy!
